QShed is a repository of open-source code and tools for game development. Currently our work is geared toward the Quake series of games by id Software, but that is only the starting point. We welcome all contributors: send a useful patch to the email address on the Contact page, and you may be given SVN write access.

News

October 23, 2010 - A new version of Qwalk has been released, adding the ability to recalculate vertex normals and to rename corrupted frame names. Also, the naming scheme of release has been changed. This release is ALPHA-0.1.2, and the previous two releases are now ALPHA-0.1.0 and ALPHA-0.1.1. Go to the Qwalk download page to get the latest version.

August 28, 2010 - The second alpha version of Qwalk has been released. This version contains MD2 export functionality. Go to the Download page to get it.

January 18, 2010 - The first alpha version of the Qwalk model converter and viewer has been released. Go to the Download page to grab it, then check out the Guide to see how to use it.

January 5, 2010 - Project begun.
